What does a property copywriter do?
A property copywriter specialises in crafting persuasive, informative, and engaging property descriptions. This includes creating listings, website content, blog posts, and social media posts that capture the essence of a property and appeal to prospective buyers or renters.
Why should I hire a property copywriter instead of writing my own listings?
While anyone can describe a property, a professional copywriter knows how to sell it. They understand buyer psychology, persuasive language, and SEO principles, ensuring your listings capture attention, resonate with the right audience, and rank well on search engines. Hiring a copywriter saves you time and helps generate more interest and leads.
What types of properties do you write about?
I am experienced in writing about a wide variety of properties, from family homes, apartments, and luxury estates to commercial properties and new developments. Each property type has a unique audience, which I can tailor the copy to attract.
How do you make my property stand out from others on the market?
I dive deep into the unique aspects of your property – its history, location, amenities, design features, and lifestyle benefits. I also consider the target buyer or tenant and craft a message that resonates emotionally, helping potential clients imagine themselves in the space and creating a strong desire to see it in person.
Can you write other real estate-related content?
Absolutely! Beyond property listings, I often write blog posts, website content, email newsletters, social media posts, brochures, and other marketing materials. If it’s related to real estate and needs persuasive or informative content, I can help. If you’re looking for bespoke content to keep your mailing list engaged, you may be interested in my monthly content package – 4 or 8 done-for-you emails you can simply copy and paste for a set fee.

Alternatively, I can co-pilot your AI tools to ensure that all your content meets the highest standards to protect your reputation and prevent copyright infringement. This service is charged at my hourly rate of £60.
How long does it take to get a completed listing or piece of content?
The timeline can vary depending on the property and scope of work. However, most listings can be completed within 2–3 business days. I usually ask clients to let me know when they’ve booked a new property so I have plenty of notice regarding the launch date. For larger projects, such as website content or brochures, timeframes are typically discussed upfront to meet your needs and deadlines.
What information do you need from me to start?
My copy-creation process is simple and convenient for everyone involved. Using cloud-based systems, WhatsApp, or whatever suits your business, I construct the descriptions using the floor plan, pictures, video tours, any non-obvious details the agent relays, and any previous listing information. I also research the local area to better understand the broader lifestyle on offer.

Throughout this process, I’m on hand to respond quickly to your queries, make adjustments and amendments, or adapt the approach and style to your taste. Communication is at the heart of everything I do, so you can always expect a quick response and adherence to deadlines.
Do you charge by the project or by the word?
I charge by the word for most listings, so the description cost correlates with the property's size and value. However, I’m always happy to discuss flat or hourly rates if that works better or discuss bespoke pricing options for unique projects.
How do you capture a brand’s voice?
I can adapt to a variety of tones and styles, from professional and polished to friendly and conversational. This usually starts with a brand discovery phase, during which I review your existing content and discuss your preferences to ensure consistency across all your property marketing materials.
